About Healthfirst Training
Healthfirst Training is registered to offer a wide variety of nationally recognised qualifications from the Health, Community Services and Business Services Training Packages. In particular we are able to provide tailored training to suit Enterprise or Industry skill sets including whole qualifications or specific units to fit your organisation’s individual needs.
Training can be delivered in a range of flexible modes including ‘on-the-job’, ’self paced learning’, ‘Recognition of Prior Learning’, ‘Recognition of Current Competencies’ as well as in the traditional training/class room environment.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the acknowledgement of skills and knowledge obtained through formal training, work experience and life experiences.
Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) is Recognition of Current Competence within the year of a person’s study if they develop skills and knowledge that relate to the Units of Competence they will study by attending courses outside of the qualification, work they undertake in voluntary positions and/or work they undertake within the workplace.
RPL and RCC is ideal for those people who are currently working within the health industry as a large part of a qualification may be obtained through this process without having to leave the workplace to attend formal training sessions.
Qualifications and / or units from the Public Health, General Business Operations and Allied Health areas may well be of particular value within your General Practice, Division of General Practice, Aged Care or Allied Health Facility.
